LinkBulb Technology Limited is a Nigerian software company. We design and build applications for other businesses — and we run several of our own, which changes how we build everything else.
Who we are
Builders who also operate
Most software companies sell you a build and move on. The trouble with that arrangement is that nobody who wrote the code is around at 2am when a third-party service starts silently dropping requests, and the person left holding the outage is you.
We work differently. Alongside client projects, LinkBulb runs applications of its own — consumer platforms with real users and real money moving through them, every day. That experience is not a side project; it is the reason we argue for retries, reversals and monitoring at the design stage instead of adding them after the first bad week.
We are not the cheapest team you will find, and we will not take a brief in a domain we do not understand. What we offer is a company that has already made the expensive mistakes in this market, on its own money.

How we work
Four rules we do not bend
These cost us work sometimes. We keep them because the alternative costs more later.
Assume it will fail
Services time out, networks drop, and power goes. Every important path is designed around what happens when a step does not complete — retries, reversals, and a state you can still reconcile afterwards.
Say the real number
We quote what a project actually costs, including the integration work other quotes leave out. A low estimate that doubles halfway through is not a discount, it is a broken promise with extra steps.
Turn down the wrong work
If your project sits outside what we are genuinely good at, we say so and point you elsewhere. We would rather have a narrow reputation we can defend than a broad one we cannot.
Leave you able to leave
Source code, documentation and deployment access are yours on a build engagement. Lock-in is a business model we are not interested in.
The team
Small, and staying that way
LinkBulb is a small engineering team based in Nigeria. There is no account manager layer between you and the people writing the code — whoever scopes your project builds it, and answers when something breaks.
We grow slowly and deliberately, because what makes our work reliable is a handful of people who hold the whole system in their heads. That is worth protecting.
